Beautiful!

Today was our stake conference. The talks were good, but the best part of the meeting was the music--a lovely Primary children's choir. The children looked beautiful and sounded fantastic. They sang several Primary songs I was familiar with and one I'd never heard before (and I serve in Primary).

Being unfamiliar with the song, I listened closely to the words. Within a few lines, I was in tears. I hope you can feel the beautiful spirit of this song and that it can remind you that Jesus overcame "all that was sad, that was wicked and bad. All the pain that we'll ever know." He won the battle for us.

I'm so grateful.

Our primary sang this for Easter Sunday. It is also our kid's favorite. Many times I would find them singing it to themselves. It is a great song.

adding to what Kristi said: I first heard this amazing song when we were in Oregon visiting with their family. The children were singing it around the house, particularly the chorus. Then on Easter Sunday we heard the Primary children perform this song. young Spencer and a friend had a duet part. I, too, was moved to tears that day as I knew this was an inspired song and what an important message for the chldren to learn at such an early age. I love it. Also that day, Kristi gave an amazing talk in Sacrament Meeting. Spencer conducted. Truly a day to remember.
